All wallets and transactions are managed on the Algorand blockchain. We use a smart contract protocol (snippets of code on a blockchain) to exponentially increase trading possibilities as more people participate. Tokens created on troki represent a company's goods and services and can be redeemed through our platform.
Tokens can be freely exchanged by anyone but be careful; tokens created on troki have expiration dates and need to be redeemed before they expire.
All tokens and transactions are recorded on the blockchain, offering a high level of trust, openness and transparency.
Tokens can be sent through email like Venmo.
For trading tokens, we offer a token exchange which works through member bids. A bid is an offer to exchange one set of tokens for another.
Our platform monitors all bids and finds matches among the offered/wanted pairs. We then executes multi-party, atomic transactions that increases the likelihood that your bid is successful with every new participant.
Businesses give tokens to influencers to generate buzz and exposure for their product or service. Troki provides a list of influencers, but businesses can send their tokens to anyone.
Influencers who receive tokens can set up a promotion page for their followers to collect tokens via a url, or trade them on the exchange.
